Spruce, sea and citrus
The opening is described as explosive and green. Spruce and petitgrain add a sharp, forest-like freshness according to FragranceGems, while cardamom, sea notes, lemon and orange fill out the bright side. With six notes in the top, it is worth smelling slowly to see which of them you catch first.

A floral and herbal heart
Lily of the valley, jasmine, rose, sage and rosemary make the heart more elegant, with a refined floral and aromatic character. Sage and rosemary give the flowers a herbal frame, so the middle may feel more like a garden than a bouquet. This is the stage to judge whether the herbs suit you.

Rosewood, musk, vetiver, moss
The base of Brazilian rosewood, musk, vetiver and oakmoss is earthy and warm. FragranceGems says rosewood and oakmoss create a warm, woody finish. Smell it again in the evening, when the green and sea notes have faded and the wood and moss are what is left.

Does the sage dominate?
Sage is one of five heart notes, next to lily of the valley, jasmine, rose and rosemary. It adds an aromatic, herbal frame, but how present it feels depends on your skin.
