A long citrus list
Mandarin, lemon, Calabrian bergamot, bigarade and petitgrain make up the top. Sweet peel, sharp lemon and the slightly bitter green edge of bigarade and petitgrain make the opening layered rather than one juicy note. A sample gives you time to hear all of them.

Mint among flowers
According to the brand, mint is the defining touch of the heart, which is otherwise mostly floral: lily of the valley and Bulgarian rose. The mint adds a cool, clear lift so the flowers stay light and the move away from the citrus feels airy.

About Xerjoff
Xerjoff was founded in Turin in 2007 by Sergio Momo and Dominique Salvo and describes its own approach as artistic, maximalist and opulent: every scent a work of art inside another work of art. The range is organised in collections, from 1861, which marks the unification of Italy, to Join The Club, whose notes are kept secret. With perfumes this rich, and some whose notes are not disclosed at all, a 10 ml decant is the sensible first step.
