The fruit comes first
On skin the opening is quick: lemon, bergamot and orange for the citrus, pineapple and mango for ripe, golden fruit. It is juicy and warm rather than sharp. Wearing a decant lets you judge this first impression on its own, away from a paper strip.

Ginger, cinnamon and neroli
Once the top settles, ginger and cinnamon add a mild warmth, and Tunisian neroli, a clean orange-flower note, ties the spice to the fruit. Wear it through a whole afternoon to see how this middle stage behaves, because it decides if the fruit stays cheerful.

How to test it
Put the decant on clean skin in the morning, on a day without strong food or other perfume around. Check it soon after applying, again at midday and once more in the evening. Try a second day in warmer weather and a third in cooler, since citrus and tea will not weigh the same in both.
Who it is for
People who love fruity citrus but fear it will turn sugary, and who prefer a drier finish of tea and wood. It is unisex. Pineapple and mango give it a sunny character, so bright, warm days are its natural setting. If you lean towards sweet gourmand scents, wear the sample first to see whether it feels too dry.

What exactly is in the decant?
Ravenna Extrait de Parfum, filled by FragranceGems from the original bottle into a 10 ml glass spray vial and labelled by us. It is not made or supplied by Al Ambra, and we are not affiliated with the house.
Is a sample enough to judge the scent?
For several test days, yes. A 10 ml decant gives you many wearings, enough to try Ravenna at different times of day and in different weather, which says more than one quick spray ever could.
Is it the same perfume as the 50 ml bottle?
It is the same Extrait de Parfum, only moved into a smaller vial. The composition stays as Al Ambra made it; the vial and the label are ours.
What should I watch for in the drydown?
Let the citrus and fruit fade, then note whether the black tea, guaiac wood and ambroxan feel clean and airy to you or a little too dry. That is the part the sample is for.

About Al Ambra
Al Ambra is a Dubai house, founded in 2016, that develops and produces its perfumes in its own workshop at Dubai Investment Park. Everything we decant from it is an Extrait de Parfum made with warm climates in mind: smooth, oil-rich textures that stay close to the skin rather than filling a room. Three or four samples show the range, from a clean musk to a sugared vanilla, before you commit to a bottle.
