Top: one bright note
Bergamot is the only top note, so the opening is short and uncluttered. It gives a clear, light first impression and hands over to the flowers almost at once. Do not expect a long citrus phase; the perfume moves quickly toward its floral centre.

Heart: jasmine and neroli
Jasmine and neroli share the heart. Jasmine is creamy and rich, neroli lighter and closer to orange blossom, and together they make the luminous part of the scent. Pay attention here to whether the flowers feel clean and radiant on you or a little heavy.

Base: where it darkens
Seven base notes follow: tonka bean, saffron, ambroxan, vanilla, white musks, grey amber, modern woods. Tonka and vanilla soften the picture, saffron adds a dry spiced thread, and the amber and musks keep it smooth. The brand speaks of heaven with a hint of something forbidden, and this is where that shows.

How to test it
Choose a normal day and apply the decant to the inside of your wrist, then return to it as the bergamot disappears and the flowers settle. Wear it again in the evening on a second occasion, because the warm base is the longest part of the story and shows best once you have lived with it for a while.

What is in the decant?
Dirty Heaven Eau de Parfum, filled by FragranceGems from the original 50 ml bottle into a 10 ml glass spray vial and labelled by us. We are not affiliated with BORNTOSTANDOUT, and the brand has no part in the decant.
Is it more floral or more warm?
Both. Bergamot, jasmine and neroli give it a bright face, while tonka bean, vanilla and grey amber make the finish warm and soft. A test on your skin shows where it settles between the two.
Why does the base list matter for a test?
Seven notes sit in the base, against one at the top. That means most of the character appears later, so try the sample more than once and give it room to develop before you decide.

About BORNTOSTANDOUT
BORNTOSTANDOUT is a Seoul house launched in April 2022 under the motto 'We rebel against the standards'. The names are deliberately provocative, Dirty Rice, Fig Porn, Drunk Lovers, but the formulas are serious: each is composed by a credited outside perfumer and the Eau de Parfum line is dosed at 30 to 40% fragrance concentration. Perfumes this dense and this gourmand deserve a skin test before a full bottle, which is what our 10 ml decants are for.
