Peach, apple and a hot spice
The start is ripe and slightly sticky: peach, apple and pineapple, with cinnamon pulling the sweetness towards warmth and sesame adding a toasted, nutty edge. The fruit is soft rather than crisp, and you will feel quickly whether this much sweetness already suits your skin.

Rose, honey and rum
At the heart, rose and heliotrope add powdery floral softness, while honey and rum turn it all thick and glossy. Cardamom runs through it as a dry spice thread. This stage shows the syrupy character the brand talks about, and it is where many people decide.

Black vanilla, tobacco, saffron
The base is where the red amber theme arrives: amber and black vanilla lay a deep, resinous floor, saffron brings a leathery glow, and tobacco and musk soften the edges. The brand says black vanilla and tobacco carry the drydown, and a long test shows how that plays out.

About Les Eaux Primordiales
Les Eaux Primordiales calls itself a manufacture de parfums and means it literally: Arnaud Poulain founded the house in 2015 near Arras in northern France, and everything from the first sketch to the bottling happens on its own wooded estate. The ranges borrow their names from science, Superfluide, Supercritique, Supermassive, and several materials, amber, oud, appear in more than one weight. Samples let you compare those weights before choosing.
