Bergamot, fig leaf, grapefruit
The opening is a clear combination of bergamot, fig leaf and grapefruit. Fig leaf is the green, slightly milky part of the fig, not the fruit, and it sits among the citrus. Notice whether it feels crisp and leafy on you or turns drier and more bitter.

Neroli, lotus flower, cedarwood
In the heart, neroli, lotus flower and cedarwood follow. FragranceGems calls the move floral but restrained. Neroli brings a clean orange-blossom note, lotus a watery softness, and cedar a dry frame, so the middle stays calm and does not tip into sweetness.

Vetiver, ambergris, white musk, oakmoss
The base has four notes: vetiver, ambergris, white musk and oakmoss. Together they give a soft, earthy finish, with the oakmoss adding a damp-wood greenness. Smell your wrist late in the day, since the green character settles into something quieter here.

Does Fig Fete smell of fruit?
The recorded note is fig leaf, the green part of the tree, rather than the fruit. Together with grapefruit and bergamot it reads green and citrusy.
Is it a sweet scent?
Sweetness is not part of the recorded pyramid, which moves through neroli, lotus flower and cedarwood to vetiver, ambergris, white musk and oakmoss.
What does the oakmoss do?
Oakmoss is a dry, earthy base note. In Fig Fete it sits with vetiver and musk and adds the mossy green greenness under the soft finish.
