Vanilla Vibe is an Eau de Parfum from Rayhaan, built around Madagascar vanilla. Plum and freesia open it, tuberose sits beside the vanilla in the heart, and amber, labdanum, cashmere wood and oud close the composition. Vanilla combined with oud can turn sweet, smoky or both, depending on the skin, which makes a decant the sensible first meeting.

Plum and freesia
The opening pairs plum with freesia. Plum brings a dark, jammy fruit note, freesia a light and slightly peppery floral freshness. It is a short stretch that sets the tone before the vanilla arrives, so apply it and give it a few minutes before you judge anything.

Tuberose beside Madagascar vanilla
In the heart, tuberose, a creamy white flower, meets Madagascar vanilla. Tuberose can feel heady on its own, and the vanilla rounds it into something softer and warmer. This stage decides whether the perfume reads as a floral gourmand or as a plain vanilla on your skin.

Amber, labdanum, cashmere wood and oud
The base gathers amber, labdanum, cashmere wood and oud. Amber and labdanum add resinous warmth, cashmere wood a smooth and dry softness, and oud a dark, slightly smoky edge under the vanilla. Wait for this stage, because oud is the note that differs most from skin to skin.

How to test it
Try it on a cool evening, on a clean forearm, and do not rub the skin. Smell it straight away, again once the plum and freesia have faded, and once more later in the day when the oud shows. Wear the sample on two or three separate days before deciding whether the vanilla stays sweet on you.
Who it is for
For people who like vanilla but want some depth beneath it: a floral heart and a resinous, slightly smoky base. It suits cooler months and evenings. If you usually avoid vanilla because it turns sugary, the oud may change that, and the sample lets you find out.
