Meet Tartan on your own skin
Tartan is a perfume from Sarah Baker. We have no note list on record for it, so we describe nothing we cannot back up. A decant gives you time with it, which a quick spray on a paper strip never does. The opening is the loudest part and the shortest, so let it pass before deciding. Smell it right after applying and again later in the day, because the first minutes rarely tell the whole story.
On request
A decant is not an official brand sample: no box, no original bottle, and we are not affiliated with the brands. Read how we fill your sample

I really appreciate that I found a shop that has a wide range of authentic perfumes, fast delivery, great communication and very good prices. Thanks for everything!
On the skin
We have the name and the house of Tartan, not its notes. Instead of copying a list from somewhere, we leave that part empty. One wearing shows a mood, several wearings show the perfume. Clothes hold a scent differently from skin, which makes a scarf or sleeve a useful second test.
Sarah Baker Tartan is listed so that you can ask for it. Send the form on this page and your interest is noted; we do not name a date. Your own nose gets used to a scent quickly, so ask someone near you what they notice. Give it time to settle before you judge it.
We fill Tartan from the original bottle into a glass spray vial and label it ourselves. The sizes are 2, 5 or 10 ml. A spray vial lets you apply it the way you would from the bottle, which a dab-on tube does not. The smallest size covers a first impression, the largest gives you many wearings.
Testing it
For Sarah Baker Tartan we hold no season or occasion data, so try it in more than one setting. Leave other perfumes off that day, so nothing interferes. Spray it on the inside of your wrist or elbow and do not rub.
Tartan comes without an audience tag in our data. Anyone who reacts strongly to certain notes is wise to test on skin first. Whoever wears it decides whether it fits, not the label. It suits people who like to put a few scents side by side over a week.
Choosing a bottle unsmelled is a gamble, and a decant takes the gamble out of it. The decant is filled by FragranceGems from the original bottle and labelled by us. Sarah Baker is not involved, and it is not an official brand sample.
What you receive
We start with a full bottle of the perfume. Nothing is diluted, mixed or added.
Filled by hand into a clean glass spray vial of 2, 5 or 10 ml and closed straight after filling.
Our own label names the brand, the perfume, the concentration and the size.
A decant is not an official brand sample: no box, no original bottle, and we are not affiliated with the brands.

It is a small glass spray vial of 2, 5 or 10 ml with our own label on it. It sprays like a bottle, so you apply Tartan the way you normally would.
No note list is on record with us for Sarah Baker Tartan, and we only print notes we can trace to a source. The sample lets you judge the perfume without a list.
Probably not exactly. Skin, weather and the amount you apply all change how a perfume comes across, which is the reason to wear Sarah Baker Tartan yourself before deciding.
The brand
Sarah Baker Perfumes is run from a studio in East London by two artists, Sarah Baker and Andy Hsu, and it works the way an art project would: every perfume is a collaboration with a different independent perfumer, credited on the bottle, and each is cast as a character in an ongoing fantasy world with its own mini screenplay. Characters this vivid, a vengeful peach, a mermaid's tidepool, a gilded oud, are better met in person. A 10 ml decant is the introduction.

Timely info when item was back in stock. Some confusion with info about shipment updates on gls app but what is important: perfume came in perfect condition!
incredible fast delivery l. the fragrance itself its magnificent, the dry down woody base, is intoxicating. it last on me 10 hours plus. great service great fragrance
Good experience overall. Fast shipping without any incidents. Prices are good as well.
Really happy of my purchase. Serious seller, quality products, fast shipping, large catalog. I will order a lot of more !
Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again. Only thing I hope is that you guys would negotiate better price for GLS shipping to Finland. But I know that is not always possible. And I noticed the prices were lower than the competitors so the steep shipping price was not that big of a deal. Good job all in all.
Great shop with a fantastic selection and fast shipping. I was very happy with my order. It would have been a nice touch to receive a little sample, especially as I ordered two full-size products. ;)
Placing the order was very easy. Shipping was very fast. I am completely satisfied.
Plenty of perfumes and very good perfumes. Fast shipping. One negative. Expensive shipping from Netherlands to Greece
