Six spices open it, dates, oud, incense, myrrh and davana form the heart, and a long base of vanilla, tonka bean, benzoin, labdanum, leather, patchouli and maté closes it. It is a big pyramid with a big personality, which is a good reason to begin with a small amount.

Six spices crowd the top: cinnamon, saffron, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg and pink pepper. Spice-led openings are at their loudest in the first minutes, so smell it early and again after a short wait to see how quickly it calms.

Dates, oud, incense, myrrh, davana
The heart brings dates, oud, incense, myrrh and davana. Dates add a dark sweetness, while oud, incense and myrrh give the smoky resin. This is the part that the FragranceGems word smoky points to, and the one most likely to divide opinion.

Vanilla, tonka bean, leather and more
Vanilla, tonka bean, benzoin, labdanum, leather, patchouli and maté make a rich base. Sweet vanilla and tonka meet dry leather and patchouli. Check this stage late in the day, when the spice has gone and the resin and wood are what remain.

How to test it
Use a small amount, once on the wrist, on a cool autumn or winter evening. Keep a short note at three moments: when the spices are loudest, when the incense arrives, and the next morning on your sleeve. A second try with an even smaller amount shows how much of it you really need.
Who it is for
For people who like spicy, smoky, resinous perfumes for evenings and special occasions in the colder months, unisex and strong. If you enjoy oud and incense but want some sweetness in them, the dates and vanilla are the places to look.
Why try Street Origins Bangkok Bang as a sample first
Perfumes with oud, incense and six spices ask for a trial more than most, because what is exciting on a strip can be too much on a collar. The spice-and-incense vial is filled by FragranceGems from the original bottle and labelled by us. The oud-and-dates decant is no official brand sample, and Street Origins takes no part in the filling.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
