How to test them

Apply one or two sprays to clean skin, without other scented products nearby. Ask someone you trust what they notice, because your own nose adapts quickly. Use it the way you would use a full bottle, on a normal day. Wear it on at least three different days before you decide.

A sample is the sensible first step: a perfume on paper and a perfume on skin are rarely the same thing. A sample earns its place when you reach for it again without planning to. A decant of 2, 5 or 10 ml lets you wear it on several days before you decide about a full bottle.

Questions

Which sizes do the samples come in?

Every sample comes as 2, 5 or 10 ml in a glass spray vial. The smallest is enough for a first impression, the larger ones for many wearings.

How many samples should I try at once?

Two or three is a good number. Wear one per day, on clean skin, and write down what you notice in the morning and in the evening before you move to the next.

What is a decant?

Perfume moved from the original bottle into a smaller vial. Ours are filled by FragranceGems into glass spray vials and labelled by us, so you can wear a perfume before you decide on a bottle.
