Enclave by Amouage is a perfume, and this page is about trying it in a small size. There is no recorded pyramid on this page, because we only print notes we can trace. The small size, 2, 5 or 10 ml, is meant for exactly that: a few honest wearings before anything bigger. Clothes hold a scent differently from skin, which makes a scarf or sleeve a useful second test.

The notes of Enclave are not in our files. That is not a judgement about the perfume, only about what we can state with certainty. One wearing shows a mood, several wearings show the perfume. Do not judge it next to other perfumes on the same arm, as they blur each other.

What you receive
What you get is Enclave in a glass spray vial, 2, 5 or 10 ml, decanted by FragranceGems from the original bottle and labelled by us. Because it is a spray, the perfume spreads on skin the same way it would from the bottle. Glass does not react with perfume, so what you smell is the perfume itself.

For Amouage Enclave we hold no season or occasion data, so try it in more than one setting. Test it on skin and not only on paper. Note what you think each time, and read your notes back at the end of the week. Start light; you can always add a spray on the next wearing.

Is this the same perfume as the full bottle?
Yes. The liquid is taken from the original bottle of Amouage Enclave and filled into a glass spray vial by FragranceGems. The vial carries our own label, so it is a decant and not a sample made by the brand.
Why does this page list no notes?
No note list is on record with us for Amouage Enclave, and we only print notes we can trace to a source. The sample lets you judge the perfume without a list.
How do I test Enclave properly?
Spray it on clean skin, do not rub, and check it after a few minutes, at midday and in the evening. Repeat that on a few different days before you decide about a bottle.

About Amouage
Amouage has composed perfume in the Sultanate of Oman since 1983, with frankincense, myrrh and resins never far from the formula. Its Eau de Parfums are dosed between 20 and 30% perfume oil and aged for several weeks, so even the fresher ones carry weight on skin and change a lot over a day. That makes the house a textbook case for sampling: a 10 ml decant gives you time to live with the drydown before you choose a bottle.

- Eau de Parfum dosed at 15 to 35% perfume oil on the brand's own scale, Extrait at 40 to 56%
- Guidance 46 is an Extrait dosed at 46%; Outlands is an Essence at 30%, infused for six months

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
