We have the name and the house of Sindbad, not its notes. Instead of copying a list from somewhere, we leave that part empty. Write down what you notice after a few minutes and again after lunch, and you will see how it moves. Notice how close it stays to the skin and how much of it others pick up.

In the vial
The decant holds the same liquid as the full bottle of Amouage Sindbad, moved into a small glass spray vial by FragranceGems and labelled by us. Keep the vial away from heat and direct sunlight, as you would a full bottle. Glass does not react with perfume, so what you smell is the perfume itself.

What does the sample look like?
It is a small glass spray vial of 2, 5 or 10 ml with our own label on it. It sprays like a bottle, so you apply Sindbad the way you normally would.
Why does this page list no notes?
No note list is on record with us for Amouage Sindbad, and we only print notes we can trace to a source. The sample lets you judge the perfume without a list.
How should I keep the vial?
Closed, upright if possible, and away from heat and direct sunlight, the same way you would keep a full bottle. That keeps Sindbad as it was when we filled it.

About Amouage
Amouage has composed perfume in the Sultanate of Oman since 1983, with frankincense, myrrh and resins never far from the formula. Its Eau de Parfums are dosed between 20 and 30% perfume oil and aged for several weeks, so even the fresher ones carry weight on skin and change a lot over a day. That makes the house a textbook case for sampling: a 10 ml decant gives you time to live with the drydown before you choose a bottle.

- Eau de Parfum dosed at 15 to 35% perfume oil on the brand's own scale, Extrait at 40 to 56%
- Guidance 46 is an Extrait dosed at 46%; Outlands is an Essence at 30%, infused for six months

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
