A single spice at the top
The pyramid starts with one note only: cardamom. Cardamom is green, spicy and slightly cool, and as the sole opener it sets a clean, aromatic tone from the first spray. Notice whether it feels crisp or already warm on your skin, since that sets the path for the lavender.

Lavender and iris in the heart
Lavender and iris carry the middle. Lavender is clean and herbal, iris adds a smooth, powdery softness, and the two give the perfume a tidy, barbershop kind of elegance without a lot of sweetness yet. This is the stage to wear on a work day.
