Citrus and a green leaf
Bergamot and lemon open the perfume and violet leaf adds a green, slightly dry edge. It is a short, clean top with no sweet notes in the list, so expect brightness more than juice, and a start that feels clean rather than sweet from the first moment.

Rose, violet and iris
The heart is a trio of rose, violet and iris. Violet and iris lean powdery, rose adds warmth, and together they make the centre soft and floral. If you dislike powder in perfume, this is the stage that decides it, so smell the skin again before you judge.

Amberwood, ambrette and sandalwood
The base is amberwood, ambrette and sandalwood: a dry, woody frame with the soft, skin-like quality of ambrette. No resins or sweet notes are recorded here, so the finish should stay light and close, which you can check on skin.

Is it a feminine perfume?
FragranceGems lists it as unisex. Rose, violet and iris sit in the heart, but the citrus and wood around them keep it open, so judge it on your own skin rather than on the family name.
Is the powder heavy?
Violet and iris are the powdery notes recorded, and the list has no sweet or resinous notes to deepen them. FragranceGems rates the intensity as moderate, so it should stay soft.
