Four citrus fruits
Grapefruit, bergamot, orange and lemon give an opening that FragranceGems calls bright and awakening. With four citrus notes the first minute is the loudest, so smell once straight away and again a few minutes later to catch the change.

Aldehydes, green notes, jasmine, rose
The heart mixes aldehydes, green notes, jasmine and rose. FragranceGems describes tender-clean aldehydes set against crisp green chords and romantic roses. Aldehydes polarise opinion, so this is the stage where a sample earns its place.

Sandalwood, vanilla, amber, musk
Creamy sandalwood and clean musk are warmed by vanilla and balsamic amber in the base. It should feel softer and more intimate than the citrus start. Smell your sleeve the next morning to see whether any warmth has been left behind.

Are the aldehydes soapy?
FragranceGems calls them tender and clean, set against crisp green chords. Whether that reads as soap or as fresh linen is personal, and a sample settles it.
Is Sansa mainly floral or mainly citrus?
It starts in citrus and moves into a floral heart, then ends woody and musky. FragranceGems classes it as a floral woody musk, so the flowers and wood carry more of the story than the citrus.
Which seasons suit it?

Mykonos is an Indonesian perfume house with a Mediterranean name. Its motto is "Born in Indonesia. Built for the world", the perfumes are produced in Indonesia and most of them are Extrait de Parfum, with a few Eau de Parfum. The range in Europe spans six scent families. A sample is the easiest way to find out which of those families suits your skin before you choose a 50 ml or 100 ml bottle.
