The base of vanilla, cedarwood, tonka bean and fir balsam brings warmth, wood and a resinous edge. Fir balsam is the unusual name here, a conifer resin that gives the sweetness a woody, balsamic side.

Because it is a strong perfume with sweet notes, try it in the evening in autumn or winter, with a small amount on the wrist. Compare the first stage on a clean wrist with the later stage on the next day's sleeve. If you like it, test it once more in a different setting before choosing a bigger size.

Why are the heart notes missing here?
FragranceGems describes the heart only as fruity, sweet and spicy and names no materials, so we list none. We prefer an honest gap to a guess.
Is Toxic Heart very sweet?
Berries and vanilla point to sweetness, and FragranceGems calls the heart sweet as well. The cedarwood and fir balsam in the base are the counterweight, and a sample shows how much they hold it back.
Is it a gourmand or a fruity perfume?
Both labels are on it at FragranceGems, together with oriental and woody. In practice the berries lead, and the vanilla and tonka bean give the dessert side.
