Cinnamon lifted by bergamot
The perfume opens with cinnamon, which brings an immediate, cosy warmth, while bergamot keeps the spice from turning heavy. You get a bright, inviting start that smells of spice first and fruit second. Notice how long the citrus lasts on you, since it sets the tone for what follows.

Why does the heart have no notes listed?
FragranceGems records only a mood for that stage and no individual notes, and we do not add any. The sample is the honest way to find out how the middle feels.
Is the cinnamon strong?
Cinnamon opens the perfume and bergamot sits beside it to lift it. How strong it feels is personal, and wearing a small amount first is a sensible way to find out.
What does Ambroxan do here?
Ambroxan sits in the base next to vanilla and gives a clean, warm, slightly mineral finish. It is one of the reasons the drydown tends to feel smooth, though your skin has the last word.
