Cardamom, elemi and pepper
The top opens with Cardamom, Elemi, Pepper, Lemon and Bergamot. FragranceGems describes it as an energetic yet resinous start that sets the tone at once: cardamom and pepper bring spice, elemi a fresh resin, lemon and bergamot a bright edge. Notice how much of that brightness survives on your skin.

Saffron, cumin and flowers

Is Ramad Oriental heavy?
FragranceGems tags it as strong, and the pyramid is full of spices and resins, so it is not a light perfume. A small amount from the 10 ml vial is a good place to begin.
Which note should I notice first?
Cardamom and pepper, listed at the start of the top. They tell you straight away whether the spiced character suits you, before saffron and the resins arrive.
Is the vial suitable for travel?
