Citrus and a cool spice
The first minutes combine bergamot, blackcurrant and cardamom. The citrus is clear, the blackcurrant slightly tart and dark, and the cardamom brings a cool, dry spice that keeps the fruit from tasting like jam. This is a brisk, quick opening that sets the tone.

Fruit in layers
Then the fruit basket opens: fig with a green, creamy sweetness, red apple with juice and crunch, and tiare with a soft white-flower warmth. They do not blend into a single smooth accord, which fits the brand's idea of fruit without tidy edges.

Wood, peach flower and praline
Cedarwood forms a dry, pencil-like frame for the base, while peach flower and praline bring gentle sweetness and a nutty, caramelised depth. The sweetness stays, but the wood keeps it balanced, so the perfume ends warm and smooth rather than heavy.

What kind of fruit scent is Pulp?
It is a fruit basket that is deliberately a bit disorderly: blackcurrant, fig and red apple with tiare, peach flower and praline, held together by cedarwood. The brand calls it dramatic and intense in taste.

Byredo was founded in Stockholm in 2006 by Ben Gorham and turns memories and emotions into scent: a dance in Africa, a desert flower, a library, a nomadic life. The Eau de Parfums are built on a small library of raw materials, ambrette, sandalwood, violet, vetiver, and most of them stay transparent and close to the skin. That restraint is exactly why a sample helps: on paper they can seem simple, on skin they settle into something personal.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
