Citrus with a ginger sparkle
It starts with bergamot from Italy, mandarin from Brazil and a spark of ginger. Bergamot is crisp and a little bitter, mandarin sweeter, and the ginger brings a faintly peppery warmth, so the freshness is not purely clean. It is a bright start that lasts only a short while.

The heart is Chinese magnolia, named alone by the brand. Magnolia is creamy with a lemony edge, and here it links the bright opening to the warm base. Because only one note is named, this stage tends to feel quiet and smooth rather than busy, which suits some wearers more than others.
