About Rayhaan

Two faces of one house

FragranceGems describes Rayhaan as a house of warm, oriental perfumes, and that is true of half the range. The other half is water and fruit: Rayhaan Aquatica opens with lime, coconut milk, bergamot and mandarin, moves through sugar cane, hibiscus, jasmine and gardenia and settles on rum, musk, tonka and patchouli. Rayhaan Azul keeps the same sunny heart but starts with marine notes and bergamot instead.

The sweet and the dark side

Rayhaan Divine is the house's floral gourmand: lychee, bergamot and ginger over peony, rose and vanilla, with a chocolate accord and patchouli in the base. Rayhaan Pharaoh is the dark one, saffron, cardamom and cade oil over coffee, benzoin and suede, on guaiac wood, tonka bean and vanilla. Rayhaan Cedrus Blanc and Rayhaan Nava Sol sit in between as quiet woods: bergamot, musk and cedar in the first, cedar, musk, amber and sandalwood in the second. Testing one from each group tells you fast which Rayhaan you are.
