Warm spice, crisp apple
Cardamom and clove start the perfume with a spiced warmth, and apple adds a crisp freshness that FragranceGems says gives the spices a modern twist. The fruit keeps the opening from feeling heavy, so notice how the apple fades as the spices take over.

Cinnamon, lavender, geranium
In the heart the perfume turns more aromatic and classic. Cinnamon and lavender are described as a refined balance between spicy warmth and a clean, floral undertone, with geranium alongside. To some noses that recalls a classic barbershop, to others it simply feels cosy.

Bourbon vanilla on cedar
The base rests on bourbon vanilla, cedar and amber. The vanilla is described as deep and dark, and the cedar keeps it from turning sticky. How sweet the end feels depends a lot on your skin, so give it time before you decide.

How to test it
Wear it on a cold evening on clean skin, one spray on the neck and one on the wrist, and smell it again after you have left the house. Judge the cinnamon and lavender stage separately from the vanilla stage, and try a second evening with less to see whether a lighter hand suits it.
Who it is for
A good match if you like gourmand and oriental perfumes with a woody, spiced character for evenings and special occasions. The FragranceGems tags are men, strong, autumn and winter. If you prefer fresh, airy scents, the sample shows you early whether the vanilla is too much.

Is Agha very sweet?
The base is bourbon vanilla, which FragranceGems calls deep and dark, but cedar and the spiced heart balance it. Whether it feels sweet to you depends on your skin, which a few test days will show.
Is it a gourmand?
FragranceGems tags it as gourmand, oriental and woody. The vanilla leads the base, but cardamom, cinnamon and lavender give it a spiced, aromatic character too.
Can I wear it in spring?
Its FragranceGems seasons are autumn and winter. You can still test it in milder weather, since a decant lets you see how the spice and vanilla behave when it is warmer.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
