Diptyque presents Eau Duelle as a tribute to travel and vanilla, and this Eau de Parfum has only four listed notes: vanilla, pink peppercorn, cypriol and incense. Diptyque pictures Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar changing as it moves along the spice route. So the vanilla here is not a dessert but something that has been somewhere. Pink pepper adds a dry, bright sparkle at the edges.

About Diptyque
Diptyque began in Paris in 1961 as a boutique run by three friends at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain, and perfume followed later. Its eaux de toilette and eaux de parfum are portraits of places and plants: a fig grove in Greece, sandalwood burned in Vietnamese temples, a river under a willow. Most are built on a short list of notes and wear lightly, so a 10 ml decant is the honest way to find out which portrait suits your skin before you buy a bottle.
