Amyris and iris
Amyris, a wood, meets iris at the centre of this perfume. The house first set the pairing in the Eau de Toilette of the same name, and the extrait recasts it in amber. Iris keeps a cool, powdery elegance while the wood sounds warmer and fuller.

Vanilla is the ingredient the house highlights: soft and spicy, and it lends the woody amber glow its fullness. Cinnamon underlines the spice, saffron draws a dry, golden rim, while tonka bean rounds the ending with a creamy, almond-like sweetness.

About Maison Francis Kurkdjian
Maison Francis Kurkdjian, co-founded in Paris in 2009 by the perfumer Francis Kurkdjian and Marc Chaya, treats perfume as a wardrobe: a set of scents you choose from according to mood. Several exist in two concentrations, and one pair, Gentle Fluidity, uses the same six ingredients for two different results. A wardrobe is something you try on, and with 10 ml decants you can compare an eau de parfum with its extrait on your own skin before deciding.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
