Vanilla in white
Madagascar vanilla absolute is the darkest item on the list: deep, resinous and sweet. Set against white powders it keeps its identity but loses stickiness, which points to a dry-sweet, softly dusted vanilla rather than a syrupy one.

Palo santo and coconut powder
Palo santo oil supplies the structure, a clean wood with a faint resin that stops the sweetness from sprawling. Coconut powder pulls the other way, adding a dry, milky creaminess that strengthens the vanilla's appeal, so one element builds the frame and the other fills it.

The Eau de Parfum, drawn from the 100 ml bottle. A separate extrait with the same name exists in the house's range, and the decant is not that one.

About Matière Première
Matière Première is the house of one perfumer, Aurélien Guichard, and of one rule: each perfume is built around an overdose of a single natural raw material, named on its page. Finnish birch tar, Greek saffron, Omani incense, a rose he grows himself in Grasse. The project began with the first fields he planted in 2016. A material in overdose is either exactly your thing or not at all, so test it as a 10 ml decant before you commit.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
