How the sample is made
The sample is made by hand: Zoologist Cockatiel goes from the original bottle into a glass spray vial of 2, 5 or 10 ml, which we then label. A spray vial lets you apply it the way you would from the bottle, which a dab-on tube does not.

No. It is not an official brand sample. FragranceGems decants Cockatiel from the original bottle into a glass spray vial and labels it; the house is not involved.

About Zoologist
Zoologist names every perfume after an animal and gives each one to a different perfumer, whose name is printed on the box. Victor Wong founded the house in Toronto in 2013, and he is frank about the result: the brand calls its range creative, artistic and strong, not mass-appeal, and does not recommend buying a full bottle without trying a sample first. A 10 ml decant lets you find out whether Bee, Squid or Tyrannosaurus Rex is an animal you can live with.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
