Velixir samples by character

Velixir samples come with a theme that sounds like a guide but is not one. The house, a young Indonesian brand founded in 2025, names its Eau de Parfum after gods, titans and heroes of Greek mythology, and a name like Poseidon or Nyx suggests a mood without telling you what is in the bottle. This guide sorts eight samples by the character of the notes as recorded, not by mythology. The first Velixir guide covers the six customers order most; these eight are the others worth knowing.

Sea and sun

Velixir Poseidon is the most direct. Its top is bergamot and mandarin, the heart ginger, and the base ambergris. It is tagged for summer and sport, and the short list leaves room for the skin to speak.

Velixir Helios adds green and tropical notes: coconut, green notes and mint on top, marine notes and fig in the heart, and vetiver, woody notes and tonka bean underneath. Fig and coconut together are not common in a summer perfume, which is a good reason to try it before a full bottle.

Fields and herbs

Velixir Demeter is the herbal one. Its top reads mint, lemon, basil and thyme, the heart rosemary, blackcurrant, lavender and jasmine, and the base cedar and musk. A list of herbs with blackcurrant and lavender suits a person who likes the smell of a kitchen garden.

Velixir Apollo keeps a green start, green apple, ginger and bergamot, but turns to clary sage and juniper and a woody base of amberwood, cedar, tonka bean, olibanum and vetiver. The name suggests sun, yet our records tag it for autumn and winter, which shows how little a name predicts.

Night and incense

Velixir Nyx has one of the shortest lists in the house, and it is tagged strong: incense first, then sandalwood, and amber. Incense, sandalwood and amber make a plain line, and plain lines depend on your skin.

Velixir Orion adds sweetness and spice. It opens with cinnamon and bergamot, moves to Bourbon vanilla, ambroxan and praline, and finishes with amber, woody notes, musk and heliotrope. It sits in the gourmand and oriental families and is tagged for evenings.

Sweet and soft

Velixir Galatea is the sweetest of the eight, tagged for winter and strong. The top is caramel and biscuit, the heart tonka bean, honey, sugar and milk, and the base white musk, vanilla, praline filling and amber. If you like dessert in a perfume, this is the clearest case.

Velixir Athena balances fruit with flowers: lychee, grapefruit and rhubarb lead, Bulgarian rose, freesia and vanilla follow, and akigalawood, musk, orris root and vetiver close. It is the most floral of the group and our records file it with gourmand and woody.

What the eight share

Look across the lists and a family resemblance shows. Vanilla runs through Orion, Galatea and Athena, musk through Demeter, Orion, Galatea and Athena, and vetiver through Helios, Apollo and Athena. Tonka bean links Helios, Apollo and Galatea. Mint links Helios and Demeter, ginger links Poseidon and Apollo. Where the eight sit in the line

Velixir has 24 samples here, and the tags show how the line is weighted. Most are moderate in intensity, only three carry the strong tag, and one is light, so the house leans toward perfumes you can wear without announcing them. Nearly all are filed as unisex. Summer and spring tags outnumber autumn and winter, though not by much, which is why the sweet and incense names in this guide, Nyx, Orion and Galatea, are the exception rather than the rule.
