Leather and geranium
The opening pairs leather with geranium. Leather gives the start some weight and a dry, firm texture, while geranium adds a slightly green, floral edge so the scent does not feel closed off. Spray the decant once and give the first few minutes your full attention, because the leather is at its most direct here.

Patchouli and cedar
In the heart the recorded notes are patchouli and cedar, which move the emphasis toward earth and wood. Expect the scent to travel from the sharper start to something drier and more settled. This is the stage to judge whether the woody backbone suits you or feels too serious for everyday wear.

Amber, sandalwood, musk and moss
The base lists amber, sandalwood, musk and moss. Amber and sandalwood bring warmth and a creamy feel, the musk keeps things near the skin, and moss adds a damp, forest-floor shade. Come back to your wrist in the evening, when only this part remains, and decide whether you want more of it.

Put one spray on clean skin, on the wrist or the inside of the elbow, and wear it on an ordinary day without other scents competing. Ignite Oud is tagged for evenings, autumn and winter, so try it once outdoors in cool weather and once indoors at night. Check back later, because the leather opening and the amber base are quite different moods.
