Saffron as the first move
Saffron opens Cartel, a bold, warm spice that tells you straight away what kind of perfume this is. It is the only top note recorded, so the opening is direct. Give it some minutes on skin before you decide, because the first impression and the settled impression differ.

Rose and tobacco
In the heart, rose and tobacco meet. Rose brings a floral richness, tobacco a dry, smoky, leafy quality. The contrast between the two is the centre of the perfume, and it is the stage that shows its dark, grown-up character most clearly.

Amber and oud close the perfume. Amber adds a resinous warmth and oud a deep, dark woodiness. Together they make the finish deep and serious. Wear it on an evening in autumn or winter, as listed, to judge it properly, with the time and quiet it deserves.

Is it a heavy perfume?
It is listed as strong, so a light application on clean skin is a sensible way to start. You can always add a little more on a second wearing.
Which size should I choose?
A 2 ml vial is enough to meet the opening and heart once or twice. Choose 5 or 10 ml if you want several evenings to decide.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
