Spices at the start
The top is recorded simply as spices, with no single spice named. That is why the first minutes are worth noting down: tell yourself what you smell, whether warm, peppery or sweet, rather than rely on a list.

Leather in the middle
The heart holds one note, leather. A single-note middle means the character comes from how leather meets the spice above and the sweetness below. Some skins make it smoky and dry, others soft and suede-like.

Amber and vanilla below
Amber and vanilla form the base, a warm and sweet pairing. They take the edge off the leather without removing it. This is the stage that shows if Honcho ends in comfort or if the sweetness is more than you want.

How to test it, for whom and why
How to test it
Apply once to the forearm on a cool evening, since the tags record evening and daily use in autumn and winter. Do not layer other scents on top. Compare the leather stage with the amber stage on a second day, writing down which of the two you prefer.
Who it is for
For men, as recorded, who like a leather-and-spice character with a sweet, ambery finish. FragranceGems tags it strong, so a small amount is usually enough to judge, and cooler weather is a better setting than a hot day.
Why try Bujairami Honcho as a sample first
Bujairami did not make this vial and takes no part in it. It is not an official brand sample, only our decant from the original bottle of Honcho. With three tiers and only four named notes, 2, 5 or 10 ml is an efficient way to learn how it behaves on you.

Shipping was 5 days to Finland. Customer service was very good. Happy with the product also. Will shop again.
