An infusion, not a bouquet
Diptyque describes the perfume as an infusion of the entire plant. Thorns, stem and green leaves stand beside the petals, which is why the brand speaks of acidulous greenery as well as rose. Notice whether the green side shows on your skin.

Two roses and litchi

Is it a sweet rose?

About Diptyque
Diptyque began in Paris in 1961 as a boutique run by three friends at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain, and perfume followed later. Its eaux de toilette and eaux de parfum are portraits of places and plants: a fig grove in Greece, sandalwood burned in Vietnamese temples, a river under a willow. Most are built on a short list of notes and wear lightly, so a 10 ml decant is the honest way to find out which portrait suits your skin before you buy a bottle.
