How to test them

Keep the rest of the vial for a second and third try in other weather. Check it after a few minutes, around midday and in the evening. Apply one or two sprays to clean skin, without other scented products nearby. Note what you think each time, and read your notes back at the end of the week.

A decant gives you time with it, which a quick spray on a paper strip never does. A sample earns its place when you reach for it again without planning to. Trying it as a sample first means your decision rests on wearing it, not on a description.
