How to test them
Keep the rest of the vial for a second and third try in other weather. Leave other perfumes off that day, so nothing interferes. Test it on skin and not only on paper. Spray it on the inside of your wrist or elbow and do not rub.
The small size, 2, 5 or 10 ml, is meant for exactly that: a few honest wearings before anything bigger. Keep short notes per perfume; after a week the choice usually makes itself. With 2, 5 or 10 ml in a glass spray vial you can find out how it behaves on your skin, at your own pace.

Questions
How were these samples chosen?
By the tags and note lists on record for each perfume. Nothing was added from memory, the order is not a ranking, and perfumes without recorded notes are described without notes.
How many samples should I try at once?
Two or three is a good number. Wear one per day, on clean skin, and write down what you notice in the morning and in the evening before you move to the next.
What is a decant?
Perfume moved from the original bottle into a smaller vial. Ours are filled by FragranceGems into glass spray vials and labelled by us, so you can wear a perfume before you decide on a bottle.
