How to test them
Keep the rest of the vial for a second and third try in other weather. Test it on skin and not only on paper. Use it the way you would use a full bottle, on a normal day. Start light; you can always add a spray on the next wearing.
Start with 2, 5 or 10 ml and give it a few days, so that the first impression is not the only one. A sample earns its place when you reach for it again without planning to. Trying it as a sample first means your decision rests on wearing it, not on a description.

Questions
Are these samples made by the brands?
No. They are decants: FragranceGems fills each one from the original bottle into a glass spray vial and labels it. They are not official brand samples.
How many samples should I try at once?
Two or three is a good number. Wear one per day, on clean skin, and write down what you notice in the morning and in the evening before you move to the next.
Why do some perfumes show no notes?
Because we only print notes we can trace to a source. Where no note list is on record, the page says so and leaves the judging to your own skin.
