Spray it on the inside of your wrist or elbow and do not rub. Check it after a few minutes, around midday and in the evening. Wear it on at least three different days before you decide. Note what you think each time, and read your notes back at the end of the week.

Trying it as a sample first means your decision rests on wearing it, not on a description. Give every sample its own day, and come back to the one you keep thinking about. The small size, 2, 5 or 10 ml, is meant for exactly that: a few honest wearings before anything bigger.
