How to test them

Apply one or two sprays to clean skin, without other scented products nearby. Check it after a few minutes, around midday and in the evening. Leave other perfumes off that day, so nothing interferes. Wear it on at least three different days before you decide.

A sample is the sensible first step: a perfume on paper and a perfume on skin are rarely the same thing. A sample earns its place when you reach for it again without planning to. With 2, 5 or 10 ml in a glass spray vial you can find out how it behaves on your skin, at your own pace.

Which sizes do the samples come in?

Every sample comes as 2, 5 or 10 ml in a glass spray vial. The smallest is enough for a first impression, the larger ones for many wearings.

Why do some perfumes show no notes?

Because we only print notes we can trace to a source. Where no note list is on record, the page says so and leaves the judging to your own skin.

What is a decant?

Perfume moved from the original bottle into a smaller vial. Ours are filled by FragranceGems into glass spray vials and labelled by us, so you can wear a perfume before you decide on a bottle.
