How to test them
Try it once at home and once outdoors, since air and temperature change the impression. Leave other perfumes off that day, so nothing interferes. Keep the rest of the vial for a second and third try in other weather. Use it the way you would use a full bottle, on a normal day.
Trying it as a sample first means your decision rests on wearing it, not on a description. Give every sample its own day, and come back to the one you keep thinking about. A sample is the sensible first step: a perfume on paper and a perfume on skin are rarely the same thing.

Questions
Which sizes do the samples come in?
Every sample comes as 2, 5 or 10 ml in a glass spray vial. The smallest is enough for a first impression, the larger ones for many wearings.
How many samples should I try at once?
Two or three is a good number. Wear one per day, on clean skin, and write down what you notice in the morning and in the evening before you move to the next.
What is a decant?
Perfume moved from the original bottle into a smaller vial. Ours are filled by FragranceGems into glass spray vials and labelled by us, so you can wear a perfume before you decide on a bottle.
